Parents Testimonials
The teachers are incredibly caring and considerate. They create a positive and nurturing environment that makes my child feel happy, comfortable, and safe.
MMH is such an amazing little school! Run by a fully female team, every single one of them are exceptional teachers and caregivers, who not only lead with kindness and strong values, but most importantly with love for each child in their care. They do so much, from sports days, concerts, science fairs, excursions, market days etc – always busy and lively, giving our kids such a well-rounded and fun-filled educational experience. Their standard of education is unrivalled with small close-knit classrooms allowing each child individual attention to learn and grow in their own unique way, but still complying with the National Curriculum requirements. I could not be happier to have my 2 kids in this wonderful school, and most importantly it is the best feeling to know my kids are learning and growing in a safe, nurturing and caring environment.
I want to extend an immense thank you to MMH and all the incredible teachers who have played such a significant role in my sons Kyle and Liam Hardie’s educational journey. Kyle began at MMH in 2011 in Tegan’s Star class. Prior to that, he’d faced a tough experience at his first preschool, so it was so lovely to see the nurturing environment MMH provided from day one.
Being a parent at MMH was awesome. I hold fond memories of the amazing Mother’s Day tea parties, school concerts, science fairs, Mini market and sports days. These experiences were the highlight of my time there as a parent and will always stay with me. Both of my sons thrived at MMH, with Liam, my youngest, joining in 2012 in Kirsty’s Puppy class. The warm and supportive atmosphere was perfect for them both. When Kyle was battling with counting Anne went out and purchased some wooden cows and then Kyle and Tegan painted the cows together and put googly eyes on them. We often thank the counting cows when Kyle gets his amazing maths marks as they helped him grasp the basics of counting. Kyle loved cows and that is why cows were purchased for him. MMH always did what was best for the individual pupil.
The personalized attention and small class sizes throughout their primary school years gave them a strong foundation for high school. Kyle moved on to Fourways High School in 2020 and faced the challenge of online learning due to the pandemic. Yet, he excelled, a testament to the exceptional groundwork laid at MMH, which set a high standard of education. I was concerned about Kyle going to a school with large classes since he was only used to small classes, but I am thrilled that it all worked out and that Kyle managed to cope well.
Just last month, we attended Kyle’s final awards ceremony at Fourways High, where he achieved remarkable accolades: Half Colours for Academics, 14th place in the Top 20 for Academics, 1st place for Grade 12 Information Technology, and the prestigious Macmillan Trophy for Creativity in IT. His success is the result of relentless hard work and determination, fuelled by the exceptional start he had at MMH. Liam was awarded 1st place for Term 3 Grade 11 Information Technology in 2024 and 17th in the Top Twenty for Academics for Term 3, 2024. I am an incredibly proud Mum. Liam’s is also aiming for Academic colours this year.
Beyond academics, Kyle’s achievements extend to Scouts as well. He recently earned the prestigious Springbok Scout Award, the highest honour in Scouting, along with his Bushman’s Thong and Service Cord—achievements that few Scouts manage. The time management skills instilled at MMH were crucial in enabling him to balance such demanding pursuits and excel in each.
As a parent, I missed the special events that were a staple at MMH once my sons transitioned to high school, where such opportunities are rare. Choosing MMH for their preschool and primary school years was undoubtedly one of the best decisions we made. Thank you to everyone at MMH who played a part in Kyle’s journey and the lifelong foundation you helped build. I can’t thank everyone enough as Kyle wouldn’t be the young man that he is today without everyone’s time, guidance and assistance. At MMH they were never just a number, the teachers knew each pupil so well and knew the best way to encourage and support them.
My boys have really grown up way too fast, but I will forever remember their time at MMH, thank you so much for making a difference in children’s lives. I will keep you updated on Liam’s achievements as he heads towards his final year at High school.
Thank you once again.
