At Maria Montessori House we strive to provide education that is holistic and incorporates the unique identity of each individual.
When I started teaching at Maria Montessori House, I fell in love with the ethos of the school and how that ethos fosters independence, originality, and growth in every individual.
I believe that education is a tool for the empowerment of a learner.
As Maria Montessori said: The greatest sign of success for a teacher is to be able to say, “The children are now working as if I did not exist.”
It is my responsibility to create an environment that maintains our ethos and together with our phenomenal team of staff, learners, and parents, we make Maria Montessori a home.

Tandi's message

I have been working at Maria Montessori House for 9 years and during this time, I have had the privilege of witnessing first-hand the transformational effect that this school has on the lives of our learners. Maria Montessori House has changed my life and the life of my children. The school encourages learners to be independent, creative, and critical thinkers.
As the Bursar, I am responsible for the financial dealings as well the smooth running of our environment. I am proud to say that I work closely with our support staff, educators, and parents to build and maintain strong relationships that enhance the well-being of everyone in our school community.
One of the things that make Maria Montessori House special is its commitment to excellence in education. As a mom, I understand the importance of providing our children with education of high standards and I am honoured to work alongside our educators to ensure that your children receive nothing but the very best. 
Being a part of the Maria Montessori House team gives me the opportunity to play a critical role in making the school experience exceptional for our learners and further community. Together, we can achieve great things.

Awatif’s message

Being a part of Maria Montessori House has been an incredible journey for me as an educator and I am excited to share my passion for teaching and learning. Since my early years in education, I have shown an immense interest in nurturing young minds and providing them with a well-rounded education. It is my firm belief that all children deserve access to an education that inspires them to think beyond the boundaries of the classroom.

As someone who is passionate about learning, I enjoy researching educational trends and staying up to date with the latest technological advancements. This has helped me to continuously improve my teaching methodologies, providing learners with a hands-on, interactive learning experience while embracing modern tools and practices. My interests are reading, drawing and planning events that inspire critical thinking, problem solving and creativity. The anticipation of seeing everything come together is a thrilling experience for me.

As Vice Principal, I aim to create an inclusive learning environment where every learner feels respected, valued and safe. It is essential to me that our learners feel supported, encouraged and empowered to pursue their passions and curiosity unconditionally.

I believe our school's strength lies in the collective actions and contributions of every member of our school community. I look forward to fostering a positive and collaborative relationship with all stakeholders and being part of the mission to prepare our learners for a bright and prosperous future.
